Texier

Texier was founded in 1951 as a family-run collective. In a barn near the Emerald Coast of western France, a handful of artisans handcrafted a collection of leathergoods using skills handed down from generation to generation. Discerning customers throughout France and Europe began to seek out the high standards of Texier workmanship. Today, Texier is considered a classic part of the landscape of European design.

Under the direction of the Texier family for over 50 years, Texier has maintained the highest standards for craftsmanship and materials. Now with more than 150 craftsmen, Texier’s exceptional workforce is committed to maintaining the same level of quality that makes it one of the most sought after brands in Europe.

Texier’s state-of-the-art manufacturing facility is located in the medieval fortress town of Vitre, France – part of the Brittany coastal region.
